notes
Kate started her musical career at the age of 7, learning piano and violin. Pursuing her classical training, she played violin in the Kingston Youth Symphony Orchestra and continued to develop her first love, the piano.
Aged 14, Kate began to explore songwriting and a couple of years later, she formed a girl band with her co-writer and they began to play the London circuit. Working with various line-ups and writers over the years, Kate honed her skills.
Now, alongside her current songwriting projects, Kate is also composing powerful and melodic pieces of instrumental music, blending her classical, new age and contemporary styles.
"Introducing Kate Jaconello" gives you a flavour of Kate's wonderful work.

I have been moved
author: Alain de ValoisThis music is moving, moody and majestic. I'm particularly taken with Discovery, a magnificent piece which I fully expect to hear on a movie soundtrack one day. The commencing bars of Believe are beautifully realised showing a genuine talent for arrangement. Hope builds layer upon layer into a piece of huge depth. If Kate could get her hands on a real orchestra I think we'd hear what she's really capable of. If this opener is anything to go on, I think we're going to hear a lot of Kate in the future.
Introducing Kate Jaconello
author: Louise HatchIntroducing Kate Jaconello is a 3 track album - showcasing the composition talents of Kate Jaconello. Powerful and moving pieces of music, Kate is amongst other things a brilliant "melodist", a skill which shines through on these tracks. Discovery - is a majestic sound journey of inner landscapes and self discovery. Believe - piano led, it is emotive and heartfelt piece. Hope - is filmic and powerful. This album is well worth a listen. New talent at its best. I have a feeling this is only the beginning for Kate. Louise Hatch London
