Kate Grealy is a singer, songwriter and guitarist based in Melbourne, Australia. Her musical life as a performing artist began as a clarinettist with her High School's band at the age of twelve. After taking up the guitar at fifteen she started to write and began performing her original compositions at the age of sixteen at open mike afternoons. She has spent the last four years show-casing her songs around Melbourne, touring regional Victoria and New South Wales as well appearing at several festivals and community events.

She entwines her Folk style of song writing with rich jazz vocals and guitar, leaving audiences with an unforgettable experience.

Kate has recorded four CDs since 2001 and is anticipating the release of an EP titled Under a Cruel Sun later this year.


Joining Kate on stage are fellow artists Alastair Watts (Love Outside Andromeda & Paper Crane) on double-bass/cello & Vini Melzak (formerly of the Warren Ellis band and Howling wind) on guitar.
