Awesome.............................simply awesome.
author: ChuckThe difference between a group of "songs" and an album of "music" is dependent upon the quality of instrumental, the quality of the voice and most importantly the quality of the "heart" that is put the performance to portray the emotion behind the words. Paul has done an awesome job of producing some 'music' that deserves listening to. I look forward to the next collection.
Haunting... O.K. is poetic,twist-your-insides-up folk rock.
author: brandi poulsenIn the wake of folk rock's rising mainstream appeal, Paul Kaspian has produced an album that defies the typical pop trappings. O.K. has the intricate acoustic guitar technique and lyricism of Ani DiFranco and the melodic appeal of David Gray. Regardless, Paul Kaspian takes some risks where other new artists might deliver what's most marketable. With bare-bones production, O.K. rides on the momentum of Kaspian's musicianship alone...and it's pretty damn impressive. Beautifully stark tracks like American Dream and Pretty interrogate self destructive tendencies without being overly didactic or preachy. On other tracks, such as Inside Out and Little Piece, Kaspian manages to rend such yearning out of a few deceptively simple lyrics that you might be left wondering where that lump in your throat came from. Though some of the songs seem a bit rough around the edges, and Kaspian could show a little more variety in vocal style, O.K. is redeemed through it's haunting melodies and sheer poetic rawness.
Incredible album
author: Nick LangePaul intertwines profound and intense lyrics with a masterful command of the instrument to create an album driven by pure, unfettered passion. Don't be suprised when you start finding the songs stuck in your head--this is an album that shouldn't be missed.
Wow!
author: Bill McCormackPaul Kaspian's OK is a wonderful, haunting CD that is far and away the best CD I have bought in a long time. Kaspian's masterful guitar work and lyrics take you on a journey with each song. Songs like "I Know" and "American Dream" are inspired. A gem of a CD.

O.K. is a great addition to any music lover's collection
author: W.D.I have to say, BRAVO! For someone's first CD, Paul has done an excellent job. I especially like two of his more up tempo songs "Pretty" and "Anything".
I gave copies of "O.K." to several friends and they love it as much as I do!
author: Judith ShelbyWe first heard Paul's music at a Cuban restaurant in Santa Cruz. We asked our waitperson who just happened to be a friend of the artist. He sent us a copy of his CD and I bought copies and gave them to all my friends. They rave about his music. He reminds me of Jesse Colin Young- a pure, beautiful voice with meaningful lyrics. A great find!.
