After 23 years of marriage and raising a family Rick and Denise Karvasales embark on a musical journey together for the first time. Rick has been a songwriter since he was 15. He was raised in Germany and Greece as an American. His father worked for the U.S government. Rick moved to San Francisco in the late 70's, at the age of 17, and often played on the streets of San Fransisco at Fisherman's Wharf. Music has always been in Ricks soul as can be felt on Tides Turnin' Round written over 30 years ago and considered a classic by Rick's fan base. Rick continued writing and performing occasionally during his 20 year career as a realtor. At the age of 47 Rick recruited his wife Denise to continue the journey he started 30 years ago.
" Our wonderful sons are grown, and Denise has a great voice, says Rick. Our voices blend and we work well as a dou. We perform a wide variety of songs from the 60's thru the present. We share our music with Baby boomers and the younger generation in intimate settings. It's great fun and it keeps us young." Denise sings mostly covers but Rick has original material he wants Denise To record. Three of the cover tunes are live performances which Rick later added tracks to. Folks are constantly amazed that Denise hasn't been singing and performing for years.
