Filled with hope and the spirit of unity, it's a tribute to mourners and to the heroes that will forever be remembered.

In a voice reminiscent of Karen Carpenter, Karen Taylor sings from the heart a song this nation needs to hear.

Written just two days after the devastating attack on our country, "America United" arrived at 150 radio stations in five states, including New York, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia.

After hearing the song, WDTV of Clarksburg, West Virginia, combined the music with a powerful video containing footage of recent events with the American flag waving proudly in the background of scenes we will never forget. It aired twice in two weeks.

The response to "America United" has been wonderful and people come away feeling deeply touched. Everyone who hears it longs to hear it again, as it reminds us we are wounded but not defeated. And a portion of the proceeds from this CD will be donated to the families of those who lost loved one during the tragedy of September 11th.

Singer, songwriter, Karen Taylor, lives in Morgantown, WV, and has been writing songs and performing for many years. Singing at special events, schools, football games, Christian television, and churches, she welcomes invitations to touch people's lives through her music.

Recorded at Sweetsong Productions in Parkersburg, WV, this patriotic CD is available in Special Limited Edition. In this song she plays piano, strings, base, and performs all vocals. The classical guitar is played by Steve Bodner, audio engineer for Sweetsong.
