Karen Froude has been involved in vocal and instrument music since her early school days. She has a genuine love of music which shows in her enthusiastic performance style.
Karen lives in Deer Lake, NL with her husband, Raymond, where they both teach in a junior high school. Karen holds a Bachelor of Education, a Graduate Diploma in Fine Arts(Music) and a Masters Degree in Education. Karen and Raymond’s lives have been blessed by their beautiful daughter, Keira, and the blessing continues. Keira and her husband, Tim, have given them Gracie Rae, a granddaughter, who is a treasure from God.
Karen gave her heart and life to the Lord as a teenager and has dedicated her music to Him. Karen’s dedication to excellence results from her personal conviction that any thing done for God’s glory and honour must be done to the best of her ability. She has released four gospel recordings. Her lastest release, Grace for the Journey, featuring Karen’s songwriting, focuses on the amazing grace that comes through faith.
Over the past several years, Karen has travelled extensively sharing her story in song. Her powerful testimony and talent have positively impacted many lives. Karen’s music has received tremendous responses from her many audiences which has served to reaffirm Karen’s conviction that God is using her talents for His purposes. As Karen says, “God has blessed my life in so many ways. It is my hope that the blessing of God will flow through me so others will, ultimately, experience the love of Jesus. I am so humbled to be chosen by God for such a time as this and where the Lord opens a door, I will go, in faith, believing He will do marvelous things.”
