notes
<h2>ORDER NOW, WILL SHIP AS SOON AS WE GET IT!</h2>"I love rap, and the power it gives helps my black pearls from the slums out of all the shit they are in right now.
They're poor, killing each other for no reason, and gangbanging. I'd like to dedicate my life to their salvation.
When I blow up, it is my dream to take 100 'A' students from schools across the country on a chaperoned trip to Disneyland. It's my way of saying "keep up the good work", and letting them know that when you work hard, it pays off."
-Temel Karango
Welcome to Temel Karango's hip-hop world. Born in 1977 in Cleveland, and raised on the meanest streets of Chicago, Temel Karango's life has been no 'Prince of Bel-Air'. Losing his Father to an unfortunate accident at a very young age left his then single Mother to go it alone for her Family. To further complicate their situation, Mom was an active member of The Black Panther Party, which often entailed staying on the move and moving 'underground' to avoid political persecution. To find and obtain the basic necessities to sustain life was a struggle. Temel Karango's promise to his Mother was to wrest their Family from the throes of the ghetto. So be it.
Temel Karango, also known by his friends as "TK", was 13 years old and well on his way to being a poster child for all that can go wrong for someone living in the ghetto. His Mother, fed up with his constant running around and streetfighting, sat Temel down for a talk, telling him she "wished" he would use his talent to deliver his message with words instead of his fist". That talent was TK's gift, and his ability to forge powerful, meaningful, thought provoking rhyme and lyric and to deliver that powerful rhyme and lyric in his many messages.
"FEEL THA WORLD TURN", Temel Karango's debut CD, is a collection of 10 songs to help deliver those messages. Some powerful enough to challenge your thoughts and actions, some of tragedy and loss, and certainly a few for cruising and partying. TK does not have just 10 songs. He has hundreds, from the past and the present, and, with his mind currently in creative overdrive, there is much more to come. With a September 4, 2001 release date for "FEEL THA WORLD TURN", there is finally the opportunity for fans to hear and fall in love with TK's unique vocals and amazing and unsurpassable flo. His hard work and dedication have begun to get him notice. He has recently landed opening act honors at live performances by Eminem, Master P., Ludacris, Juvenile, Genuwine, E-40, Lil'Zane, Black-Eyed Peas,Cuban Links, and Shaggy.
Enjoy!
