Kanzashi is a Japanese rock band. Its current line up consists of Taichi on guitar & vocals, Ai on bass & vocals and Nao on drums; hailing from Mie, Tokyo and Fukuoka respectively. The band was formed in March 2007 in Wichita, KS and has performed locally ever since. Their eponymous debut album "KANZASHI" was released in November 2007. Their follow-up album, entitled "Kanzashi-Wish-", was released in November 2008 and includes English translations for the lyrics. Their sound is a mix of American and Japanese Rock with a twist of Pop. Primarily focusing on unique and beautiful melodies, the compositions are simple and direct with strong messages in the lyrics.
