This is a collection of tunes and songs from Celtic cultures around the world. Pianist, singer and bodhran player Pamela Swan and fiddler and singer Shira Kammen put together these fun arrangements of their favorites from Ireland and Scotland, along with some wonderful pieces from the Shetland Islands, Isle of Man, Cape Breton, Brittany and Galicia (Celtic Spain.) In addition to the fiddle and piano bits, you'll hear some wonderful songs and strange percussion, including the exotic txalaparta from Northern Spain...a beautiful, primitive Basque instrument that has to be heard to be appreciated!
