Kallen Esperian is one of the leading sopranos of our times, performing at the world's pre-eminent opera houses and concert halls.
After winning the Luciano Pavarotti International Voice Competition in 1985, Miss Esperian enjoyed successful debuts at the Metropolitan Opera, Royal Opera House Covenant Garden, Opera National de Paris, and many others.
Miss Esperian can be seen in the DVD release of Verdi's Messa da Requiem from Naples with Luciano Pavarotti. She was featured in the film "Distant Harmony", filmed with Pavarotti in China, and has one recording with the tenor on London/Decca.
"An Enchanted Reverie-Christmas with Kallen Esperian" is Kallen's first release on her own label, Goose Hollow Productions. As she says, "The making of this recording was a beautiful journey filled with love, friendship, and happiness, which brought back many beautiful memories of Christmases gone by. The Christmases of my childhood were filled with light and love and magic. I have tried to capture some of that with this recording."

author: RonI love Christmas albums...and this one is no exception. Ms. Esperian brings all her artistry to the fore with these wonderful Christmas selections. Again, there are wonderful orchestrations to make this a special CD. Congrats to all for a superb album.
hoakey arrangements & accompanimants (sp?) HER VOICE: SUPERB makes it worth it!
author: james leslie yatesthis cd is mediocre at best. "silent night" seems a race to finish before the cd ends. Moreover, her voice shines through like ringing crystal. i gave it **** (four stars) only because of her voice, and her voice is worth every penny of the price of the cd.
