Virginia born and bred Alicia Hackney aka Kaden always loved music. She was originally a pop only kinda gal who wrote her first song at age 7 when she got her first guitar.
Fast Forward to 1996, Kaden's 8th grade school year. The year when everything changed musically. The year Kaden first heard Angry Johnny by Poe. Ever since then Kaden has pursued musical perfection and diversity.
Now at 22 years old Kaden is confident about the diversity part, taking influence from many different musical stylings, from the dark yet enchanting stylings of Poe (the lyrical goddess) to the rhythmatic rule breakings of NIN, to the simple yet effective folk acoustic geniousness that is Kim Richey, this girl does not like to limit herself.
As for the perfection part... Kaden has only this to say: "I look at what I've done since I first started making music and I realize I will never be completely satisfied with my music. Knowing that, it only makes me try harder."

This album is totally awesome!
author: DMollaTypically, I'm not into this kind of music, but Kaden does such an awesome job crafting it and melding it together, that it just drew me in and hooked me. I listen to this album during my long commutes to work, and its beats and rhythms keep me nice and awake. I can totally see dancing to this album in a club!
