JUPITER is unquestionably the most astonishing and interesting curiosity in the world! A most superb and talented band of indie rockers that creates and performs with an unparalleled talent and energy guaranteed to delight even the most jaded of music enthousiasists.
MIDWEST UNCHECKED, the latest JUPITER release, contains the most extraordinary and interesting array of songs ever imagined. These include LE CAR, an 80’s inspired synth-driven dance number, ONE SHINEE TRAIN, a moody, melodic fantasy and KUNG FOO GRIP BARBIE, a down-and-dirty punk tune, to name but a few.
JUPITER has played many famed venues nationwide including Chicago’s Empty Bottle, Double Door, and Schuba’s, as well as New York City’s Ace of Clubs and The Way Out Club in St. Louis where they have been received with enthusiasm by experts and the public generally.
In addition to the more traditional music outlets, JUPITER created original music for the Side Project’s production of the play "Lysistrata", performed during Theatrevolution’s production "Dionysius 2.0" and did both for the recent multi-media Harvey Finklestein Production, "UU7: A Magician Never Tells His Tricks. JUPITER has also appeared on a local music compilation that features Chicago favorites Turner joy and Giant Step.
