Juan Francisco recently had edit his third CD. With the suggestive title "Lejos de aquí" ("Far away from here") this talented singer bring us to another places and other time with the sound of blues and alternative rock. Ten warm songs with deep lyrics supported by a few years of artistic career in his country. In this CD, Juan Francisco has made his first performance as musical producer.
Juan Francisco Zerpa is a Venezuelan singer with several musical productions edited in independent way at the musical business of his country. He is a singer, drummer and composer. He studied sing, acting and blues with the recognized American singer Janice Williams. He had perform at several stages in Venezuela and has made appearances in many TV shows. He also played in musicals at important theatres in Caracas.
In 1999 released his first CD, "Juan Francisco", produced by Guillermo Carrasco. In 2001 released his second record: "Ecos" ("Echoes"), an 4 songs EP. In the beginning of 2004 he finished the recording of his third CD "Lejos de aquí" ("Far away from here") which is been release this year (2005). This record contains ten songs with the sound of blues and alternative rock. In this CD, Juan Francisco has made his first performance as musical producer.
His songs had been included in two compilations: "El solar de los desconocidos" (2000) and "CAUTION: Music Zone, mp3 compilation" (2004), edited in Miami. He won "The Mar de Plata International award" as revelation male singer of the year (1998).
