Loveland Lullabies is a beautiful collection of sleep-inducing melodies. It's not only a wonderful gift for parents who are seeking a new way to lull their children to sleep at bedtime, but also a fine collection of spiritually inspired music that everyone will enjoy, sleepy or not. Julie’s beautiful and heartfelt vocals, backed by her confident and evocative piano playing, are the vehicle for a transcendent experience of deep relaxation. Loveland Lullabies was conceived and executed with the express intention of inducing an experience of profound safety, comfort, and relaxed surrender. Both the lyrics and music were composed by Julie with this goal in mind, and she has succeeded beautifully.
The first half of Loveland Lullabies features Julie’s divinely beautiful and relaxing voice, singing gracefully somnolent soliloquies. If, after several songs bathing you in lyrical sketches of dreamland (or, in this case, Loveland), you have not already drifted off to sleep, by the time the second half of the song cycle comes around you will be further relaxed by the lush instrumental selections. Here, in addition to Julie’s guiding hand at the keyboard, the listener encounters the lovely sounds of violinist Rebecca Cole and classical guitarist John Pell. In addition, Julie adds her own skillful performances on recorder and flute, giving the now familiar melodies an otherworldly quality that easily moves the listener into mystical realms of sacred sound. Loveland Lullabies is the perfect gift to give to yourself, or to your most stressed out friends and relatives. Parents with small children will love this calming collection of tranquil melodies, and so will the sleepy inner child in you.

author: Roger LiddellWhat a beautiful CD. I purchased extras for my neices and nephews with children. Julie's beautiful voice and wonderful instrumentals makes you feel warm and peaceful. I highly recommend it for children AND adults. There is no age limit to listening to beautiful music.
