notes
A cluster of dandelions, closed for the dewy night, open quietly for the early morning sun. On a ragged wooden step French roast coffee is steaming rhythmic curls from the mouth of a slender cream-colored mug. Cardinals hop. There is a song being born today about butterflies....the ones unnoticed by most but celebrated with unbridled dance and hollering praise by the 6 year-old neighbor girl witnessed by Joni Shea in a rear-view mirror some twilight past. Glorious twinges of clarity swell, rise up and then dip beneath the dark gauze of slumber only to reveal themselves again and again in sudden infinite gestures. In this one blast, this one moment of life right here, right now there exists everything we could ever want or need and far more.

Heart & Soul! Unfettered, uncluttered vocals with tasty backup!
author: Mr SippyThis is a fine CD for listening to in any number of situations. My favorites are Arizona and Under Orion. Joni can write songs of everyday and not so everyday occurences and give them a life of their own. Sweet.
