Joni’s music is a bright alternative for those who still like their music served with lyrical substance. She’s got a great set of pipes, but it’s her gift of songwriting that really comes through on her first release. It’s a definite nod to the great soul music of the 70’s and she soars as a vocal arranger with lush harmonies. Every song is its own entity but is distinctly Joni- infectious. soulful. bright.

Finally music that is truly a god send. I just can't get enough of this awesome artist , her lyrics have such meaning in all her songs and her voice is like an angel . author: LindsayJoni's music was fantastic. I generally like alternitive music and my husband likes soul but when I listened to this album for the first time I LOVED it. The songs are beautiful and warm with words that actually have meaning you can relate to. The "funk" that is in each song makes you want to move with the music! Hurry and make another album!

author: LindsayGenerally my type of music is alternative so when I tuned in to listen to this album I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it as much as my husband who enjoys soul music and I was absolutly amazed at Joni's voice! Her music is soul with a bit of funk hidden into each track which makes the music fantastic to listen to. You cant HELP but love this album and artist! Hurry and make another album soon!
