British guitarist Jon Beedle has been around for over three decades playing guitar around the world both in the studio and on stage. Jon has worked with keyboard player Don Airey and recorded with saxophonist Snake Davis who’s contributions can be heard on Jon’s new album “Long Time Coming.”
As well as recent appearances in the UK at The Birmingham National Indoor Arena, The Birmingham International Conference Centre, and The Australian High commision in London, Jon has performed in Reykjavik , Bucharest and Athens.
Jon's plans for 2006 include a trip to Poland to record an orchestral piece for his next project, performances around the UK, Germany and Dubai and starting work on the next album as well as some session work on various projects for other artists.
Jon’s new album “Long Time Coming” is a guitar instrumental album featuring Jon’s own compositions which reflect the many different musical influences that have shaped his style and sound. With a range of musical styles including rock, jazz, blues and even a little classical, together with a wealth of top session musicians including saxophone maestro Snake Davis, this album is a must for any serious guitar fan. Jon plays acoustic and electric guitars, guitar synthesizer and percussion, all with a flair and finesse that comes from over 30 years playing experience.

    Music by it's very nature effects the mind and emotions and Jon does this with his exemplary guitar playing immersed in a velvety smooth musical bed of exceptional backing musicianship. When I first heard Jon's music it took me to a visualization of all the exciting vacation spots I've been to where the water laps at your feet and all your senses are in high gear.     Jon takes us on a trip into his world..it's fun,with a lot of humour and nicely crafted pieces instrumental guitar musics...there is some great stuff here..variety must be his spice...He don't stay still and comes at ya with the unexpected...the album gets you involved in a guitar work out tune one minute,then sensitively eases you with a delicate dish the next..evidently Jon is an accomplished guitarist..

    File under "Eclectic" this is great! The best part of this album is that it dosent sit in a box! Opening track reminds me of Acoustic Alchemy, but the influences are diverse and Jon's unique style ensures the listener always finds something new on repeat listening.
