Known for his witty ability to get a point across, Jon has entertained audiences with his songs in the US and Europe and China since the 60’s.
He has sung before the Kennedy family, performed at the prestigious Arts Club of Washington and was televised nation-wide from the National Cathedral. His musical travels have taken him to Spain, Portugal and China, where he performed before the Vice-Premier and did a special performance on the Great Wall itself.
Since moving back to North Carolina he has performed at a variety of venues including the acclaimed Night of Dreams in Raleigh, Festival for the Eno in Durham and the Carrboro Music Festival.
In addition to performing live he’s had five original stage musicals produced in Hollywood, CA and a string of album and CD releases. His first album is collectible in many countries; he is often called upon to serve as a panelist and judge at music conferences.
Jon wrote and recorded the official song for San Jacinto, California and his specialty material has appeared on such shows as The Tonight Show, Make Me Laugh, Midnight Special and Murder She Wrote. His inclusion in Marquis Who’s Who in America® is a testament to his work.
The wisdom imparted to him by Oscar Brown Jr., “To sing your own song and make it something people would enjoy”, are the words he lives by.

Awaken the Dreamer is great
author: Pam BlehertJon has a great voice and the music and lyrics are very professional. We are enjoying our copy of Awalen the Dreamer.
Inspired and inspiring
author: Jack ViaThis cd was a welcome breath of life as well as levity and, as well, creative use of some of L Ron Hubbard's facts that clarify social confusions - eg Third Party Rag. But the title song and the last song just blew me away. Jon's inspired and he infectiously renders the listener uplifted, rekindled and surging with creative spirit - just as if something dead inside came awake! PS The "masked and anonymous" backup musicians were beautiful!
