"Musicians like Johnny Bennett are the heart and soul of the Los Angeles scene."
Music Connection Magazine
"Yes, you'll recognize plenty of your own thoughts and feelings in Bennett's work. And without fail, you'll find fragments of these songs whirling through your head as you go about your everyday business- because so much in his songs is just what you've been thinking all along."
Jack Bailey
"If you close your eyes you might think you're at an Anthony Kiedis solo show." Tony Pierce LAIST.COM
"Here's Tomorrow" is Johnny's latest effort, and is to be released this weekend. With eleven tracks, it's a more stripped down sound, and was essentially recorded to reproduce a four piece-band playing live. So, no overdubbed vocals or heavy effects here. It's also much more acoustic in nature overall, with some songs being slow and soulful and others grooving along- all of them managed to get stuck in my head pretty quickly. The first four tracks are very strong, and "Tinsel Town" (track 7) has already had some local LA airplay. It was produced by Tom Hughes and Matt Stamos, and partially dedicated to their fathers who both passed away last year. It's also dedicated to Jae Yang. Jae was a great friend and in many ways a father figure to my brother, and was tragically shot and killed in his store at 3rd and Orlando.

I like the grooves on this CD
author: Dick RamblerI have found this CD really easy to listen to from front to back, "going there again" is my pick.
Music to soothe the soul!
author: Bryan BeasleyThis is a complete album, not just a one-track wonder. With the smooth harmonies and delicious hooks each song grabs you and then hands you over to the next. Plus, the girls dig it, baby!
