notes
Known for his sweet, soaring tenor vocals, Joe Val was a mainstay of the Boston bluegrass scene for several decades. In the '60's, Joe was a member of the legendary Charles River Valley Boys, whose album "Beatle Country" pioneered progressive bluegrass years ahead of its time. With the New England Bluegrass Boys, Joe played very traditional bluegrass at its best.

Great
author: Tom FeeleyJoe Val and Dan Paisley. Awesome. Satan's Jewelled Crown is worth the $15 bucks alone. Prisoner's Song, All the Good Times, Molly and Tenbrooks are all highlights.
