notes
UNTANGLE MY MIND is Joe Rucker's follow up to his debut CD, NASHVILLE SCENES. It includes several self-penned tunes from the prolific writer as well as some well chosen covers.
Also, Joe had a few of his friends and heroes join forces with him like Eddy Raven, the great Hank Locklin, and Clifford Curry. These duets are sure to be independant classics. Other notable Nashville session musicians include: Ron Withers & Matt McKeown on drums, William Ozzie Osment on fiddle, Larry Jenkins on guitar, and Jason Coleman (grandson of the late Floyd Cramer) on keys.
So, with great originals, a few great covers, great guest artists, and great musicians.... there is no other word for this 18 song independant project than GREAT!

A great album from an artist who can show most of the current Nashville pin-up boys the way Country music should be written and performed.
each and every-one
author: ozzieHey Joe, iss is me,zat you? All jokes aside, I had a wonderful time. Just being asked to play fiddle on your project is an honor in it self. The notes absolutly rolled right off the ebnoy without having to think). The fiddle just played itself. That's the way it is when playing with such a natural as your self.
Wow! What a voice and such great songs too!
author: JeannieGreat vocals. Love the songs. They have feeling. My favorite is -- For Just A Little While Tonight -- followed by -- What We Had Was Almost. Sounds like the good old classic country -- the way country should be once again!
Pure country...all the way!
author: HalRuckers songwriting is just off center enough to make it compelling and believable to the common man. There was another singer songwriter from Muskogee, OK who shared the same ability when he was starting out. This music is on its way and so is Rucker.
A wonderful collection...excellent song writing.
author: B. W.From the originals to the covers, the songs on the album are wonderful. The variety of styles evoke so many different feelings. From the uptempo boogies to the slow timeless classics...I've not been disappointed by any of the tracks. I've been writing for 35 years and many of these songs are the best I've come across. Keep up the good work Mr. Rucker.
