Great country swing guitar
author: JeffVery cool album. Where to start? "Swinging Rose" is a nice remake of the almost eponymous Bob Will's tune. Tasty, fluid guitar. "Aura Lee" a nice acoustic surprise. Truck driving vibes. Shades of Albert Lee, The Helecasters, Sleepy LaBeef, lots more. "Sloe Nite" rounds it up with a nice 50's "Sleepwalk"-style vibe. Mellow reverb to melt your heart! What's not to like?
"EXCELLENT"""!!!

A tasty country and blues guitar album, by a great guitarist
author: Nick NearIf you are a fan of high energy country and blues guitar, thia album will satiate you with chickin' pickin', string bending, and double stops from a great Texas Tele player. Highlights are Two Dollar Haircut, Tennessee, Swinging Rose, Shaved Ice, and everything that Kevin Smith and Lisa Pankratz play on this record. Who's that mystery guitarist playing the six string on Tennesse? None other than Bill Kirchen, of Commander Cody fame. Guitar lovers owe it to themselves to check this one out.
