Enjoy the first 2-CD set collaboration of piano and cello compositions of actor, John O'Hurley and world-renown cellist, Marston.

John O'Hurley, actor, musician and spokesman, is most known for his portrayal of the eccentric catalog king, J. Peterman, on the hit show "Seinfeld." After graduating from Providence College with a theater degree, O'Hurley hit the stages of New York in several plays and operas. He is a classical trained vocalist who continues to perform alongside symphonies nationwide. His television career is vast, including daytime drama, primetime drama and comedy (such as "Seinfeld"). He has hosted the popular game show "To Tell The Truth" and often lends his voice to some of the best animated projects, such as NBC's "Father of the Pride," and "SpongeBob SquarePants". John has been composing since he was a teenager, some of the tracks on this collaboration, have been "in his head" for twenty years. He is a self-taught pianist. His sweeping legato styling comes from a long love affair with his Irish heritage.

Marston Smith plays a wonderfully eclectic five-stringed electronic cello. In his career, he's traveled all over the world, playing and performing. He's recorded with The Backstreet Boys, Lionel Richie, Neil Diamond, Whitney Houston, KISS, and Toni Braxton.

"Peace of our Minds" represents musical selections composed by O'Hurley and Marston. They've combined the classical elegance of O'Hurley's keyboard compositions with the unique soaring sounds of Marston's cello to give a rich classical fusion feel. Each track is grand and thematic. Some of O'Hurley's favorites are "Suite for Skibereen"which combines both the simplicity and the drama of the Irish landscape and the heartiness of it's people; and "For Lisa," a peace written for his wife for their wedding day in 2004.

I first heard your music on QVC last years and I thought I had gone to heaven. Every noble, deep, inspiring and loving emotion is embodied in your gifts of music, and I cannot imagine my life without it. It was playing constantly in my house, and even over the phone, people would say, "What are you listening to?!!!" So now all my family and most special friends have a copy of "Peace of Our Minds". Your music has carried me through difficult times with grace and optimism. It always sounds like I want to feel....     I bought this CD for my dad (age 72) as a Christmas present- he loved John in Dancing with the stars and really liked him. My dad had a massive stroke a few months ago. His recoevery is going well- but he rarely goes out anymore- just for rehab. therapy and many of the things he used to enjoy he is no longer able to do. So he is home, bored and restless. This CD is filled with very soothing music- just what he needed. It is beautiful- THANK YOU!

    The electronic swooshes sort of wreck the mood for me, and I've never found anything appealing about electronic 'cello, viola, violin that wasn't more appealing with the acoustic instrument instead. That said, it's otherwise a lovely sounding record, and my wife adores it.

    This CD was wonderful, very soothing,wonderful music to relax by.Loved it.

    If angels do indeed sing, then surely they are accompanied by the music from the CD, Peace of our Minds. Exquisite instrumentals and superb arrangements are the trademark of every selection on this two-disc set. Special kudos to the Suite for Skibereen and Sabanade, both of which touch such an emotional cord that one cannot help but feel joy, hope and, yes, "peace" which is why the title of the CD is so appropriate. I hope this is the first of many collaborations between O'Hurley & Marston!
