This debut album from singer/songwriter Jason Manns was on the cdbaby top sellers list in it's first week!! It's sure to satisfy if you like the easy and soulful stylings of artists such as Amos Lee or John Mayer.

Jason Manns arrived in Los Angeles in the summer of '02, and has since played in almost every popular venue the city has to offer. He has also had the opportunity to play on the KTLA morning show, for some 5 million viewers, as well as on one of the most popular radio stations in the country, Star 98.7, in the Star Lounge. Jason's song writing and guitar playing match his smooth, soaring vocals to give him a catchy yet soothing appeal. Jason's music was recently featured on ABC's "Carpoolers," and he has been touring the UK.

    What more can I say? This album is stunning in its simplicity and honesty. Beautiful melodies and heartfelt lyrics are brought to life by Jasons smooth soulful voice and his amazing guitar work. I fell in love with Jasons sound a long time ago and he never fails to touch my heart and fill me with hope. If you're looking for an affirmation that music is still capable of bringing you truth and beauty as well as being just so damn good, look no further. Of course big thanks go to everyone who worked on this album and inspired and supported Jason along the way. I am eagerly awaiting Jasons next CD.     Now I'm more of a Rock person, but I LOVE this CD!!! Especially Vision, Another Number, Crazy Love, Perfect Spot and I Remember. Along with the rest of the album, haha. When my friend introduced me, it was one of the best things that happened to me regarding music, I think. My whole family has come to love it!!! And, if you have a chance, listen to the version of Crazy Love with Jensen Ackles, my favorite actor. That's a really good version as well!!!

    I found Jason's music almost by accident, and just listening to the clips told me I had to have this CD. It more than delivers - his voice is pure and powerful, and he is a gifted songwriter. (I defy you to listen to 'Another Number' and not be singing along within moments.)Really a treasure that I know I'll be enjoying for a long time to come, Jason's music never fails to make me smile.     I heard Jason's name mentioned a lot around the Supernatural fans and thought I better check it out. Best thing I've done in ages, I listen to this CD everyday without fail and enjoy it every time! Another number, Journey and Visions are probably my favs. Buy the cd, you won't regret it!

    First time I heard Jason was live at the Asylum convention 07 and thought he was amazing. The whole album is amazing, the lyrics for every song are completely gorgeous. Not one song I don't like, can't wait for the next one!

    I grew up singing: church choir, school chorus, everybody I knew sang. But there's difference between being able to carry a tune or sing harmony and actually having a voice. Manns has a voice. The songs on this CD are deceptively mild-mannered. It takes a voice of quality to sing simply and let the melody and the lyrics unfurl and flow. These songs bear repeated listening; they will stay with you and keep you company when you need them most.

    I was amazed how quickly the CD came considering it was shipped overseas, so thank you to CD Baby. I missed Jason Manns at the Asylum convention in May so I thought the CD would be the next best things. Well it can't make up for a live performance, but it comes a very close second. I love it. I love his voice and the style and arrangement of the music.

    I really only bought the CD because I liked a couple songs on it and I wanted to see what the rest of them were like from beginning to end. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed with what I heard! This is a fantastic CD to listen to. There's some fast paced songs, and some nice slow ones; it's got a little bit of everything. A truly great CD! I look forward to hearing new music from Jason in the future. Also, the whole ordering process and shipping was fantastic. I will definitely be ordering from CD Baby again.

    At first I thought those songs are just OK, good but not as impressive as my friend said. But one day I suddenly found myself humming Crazy Love and Another number...it feels like, you won't fall in love when first listened to, but the melody is so nice and beautiful and it has implanted itself in your heart...(hope I made myself clear, sorry my English is not very good)

    The CD is great to listen with friends. This Rock Accoustic is dynamic and refreshing. The texts of the song mean something. They tell stories that happen in every life which is really nice. You can identify to the singer or the one for whom the songs are sang. If you are looking for a young artist with a great voice, great texts and great music... this is what you need ! Keep it that way Jason !

    If you like nice, melodic music then you'll love this. It's perfect for just chilling out to. My only criticism is that I would have liked some faster tracks to break it up a little. Still, for a first, self-produced album I think this is very good!

    Heard and saw jason play at Asylum and actually bought this CD there, but loved it so much and have been wearing it out so bought a second copy here. Also been playing it for all my friends. Absolutely cannot get enough of this music and lyrically on some of the songs, I wish someone would sing to me that way. *sigh* Hoping for more.

    I bought this CD for myself, just before Mother's Day. I really liked it (still do). While my Mom was visiting, I played it for her...Next thing I know, it's gone. Hmm... I bought a second copy...and eventually played it for my neice; ironically, that one showed up missing, too! So, now I'm on my 3rd...And, if necessary, I'll buy a 4th, 5th, etc. I like it that much.

    Jason Manns has a smooth, honeyed voice that will carry you on an all-day high...but every so often, he growls and it's more motorcycles than clouds for only a moment. A moment that has you hanging on, waiting for another. Every song is sung with emotion, not noise, and backed by skilled musicians. The cello on Journey haunts me, and makes it my favorite song until I hear the next one.
