joe lutton and lee morgan are very happy to be able to share their music with you singer-songwriter fans out there. basic is their first collaboration, melding two distinct styles into one unique, raw and soulful record.
joe and lee met while working as actors and singers with pete townshend and director des mcanuff in two separate productions of the musical the who's tommy, on broadway and in europe. their mutual, soul-deep appreciation for blues and rock informs every note they play.

the album was recorded very simply, to capture the sound you would experience in one of their live shows. it features an in-the-room presence of lead and rhythm acoustic guitars, harmonicas and vocals.

This cd reflects the healing power of music and are truly inspirational. Both Joe and Lee have a very soulful, soothing and empowering voice! author: a Joe and Lee fan in NJIntelligent, introspective lyrics, terrific melodies, and both Lee and Joe are great singers. The guitar and harmonica solos are full of feeling and seem just right. I think these guys deserve a very wide audience and am spreading the word. Looking forward to the next cd!
