notes
Following one of my last performances someone described me as an "amorphous floating cloud--of folk music". I laughed. I had never heard the word amorphous before. And then they added, "you simply float amorphously from song to song, we never know what you're going to do."
"An up and coming songwriter and performer who shows a real passion for his work and an ability to connect with his audience with his heartfelt singing and lyrics."
~John Floridis, Montana Public Radio
a biography (http://jibranmusicbio.blogspot.com/)
Artists. Ryan Adams, Beck, Moby, Bright Eyes, Sarah Harmer, Radiohead, Manu Chao. But seriously, I can't get enough Moby.
Idaho. To young to know which way was up but still a beautiful state. The Idaho river valleys rival Montana. The snake, the payette, the clearwater to name a few. Highway 12 and 93 both leave Missoula and pass into Idaho. Those river valley's are *amazing* in a thunderstorm.
Montana. We had chickens for most of my childhood. Spent a few years in Hamilton. Still a sucker for a hike in the Bitterroot Mountains, which have been cleaned up by forest fires the last few years. Whitefish has the best powder. Spent many tuesday nights playing open mic at the Great Northern.
Seattle. The west coast. I've spent a lot of time leaving since I moved out here: Montana, Idaho, Canada, Israel, Burning Man to name a few. I plan to explore more of the PNW.

Awesome volcals and great guitar player
author: Bryan wood of The ExcludedAwesome volcals and great guitar player. The emotion in his vioce sounds like he means what he is singing. Awsome lyics.
Not impressed
author: Ryani am not impressed with this cd at all. The guitar is simple, he moans to much when he sings. Uses too many words that arent even nessesary. I just really dont like this cd. And the fro's tacky.

As good as I expected.
author: Timothy DunnI"m enjoying the new album. It is just as good as I expected it to be. The lyrics paint vivid pictures and tell the story over the complex guitar work.
