JETLINER
The true story
When people compare a band to Queen and early Elton John, the listener is usually skeptical as to who in the current day could pull off such a daunting task. The answer is JETLINER. Armed with a 5-foot baby grand piano that they haul from gig to gig--as well as a melodic sense not usually associated with a rock band--they are the real deal. And the buzz is spreading.
For lead singer, Adam Paskowitz, it's a no-brainer. "My mom was an opera singer and people had always told me, 'get back on the piano, no one in rock can do that but you'," he says with confidence. The truth is no one in today's modern rock can do what JETLINER does: a blend of new rock with classic 70's vocal harmonies and piano. "It sounds crazy for today, but it all fits," says Adam.
Paskowitz leads JETLINER and his background shows through their songs. From a famous surfing family, this child surf-star-turned singer/songwriter has already signed two major record deals, spawned a top five single, toured the world, opened for The Rolling Stones, played on MTV and sold over 700,000 albums.
"I had just finished playing two weeks of back-to-back alt rock radio festivals with a few more to go, and when I got to my hotel there was this huge piano in the lobby. It had been like two years since I had played one, but a 9 foot Steinway is a little hard to resist. I sat down to play it and six hours later--at 3:00 in the morning--I was on the phone with four new song ideas," says Adam. The first call he made was to his long-time friend The Duke--a Southern California native who played piano with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the tender age of 12. "So I quit everything I was doing and went at it like a mad dog", Paskowitz continues, "looking for a smaller piano, building a studio, and getting my friend Jeff Kluesner to come out of hiding to play guitar for us." Jeff--the imposing cue ball headed guitarist of the band--brings talent and intensity to the fold that is almost tangible.
The trio kept writing, and after adding the powerhouse drummer Rob Jones to the line-up, this JETLINER was off the ground. JETLINER welds power-pop and melodic 70's rock with a piano legacy that few can lay claim to--especially in these times of short-lived alt rock.
JETLINER is currently touring in support of their recently released self-titled debut.

Let the 'GOOD TIMES' roll with JETLINER
author: JasonHoly cow this is an aewsome CD! Part Queen, part Elton John, part Jellyfish...JETLINER will rock your socks. Piano rock never really appealed very much to me, but this band works. The lyrics are sharp, and not full of cliches, the music is well done and thought out. Overall, this is a great CD, a true diamond in the rough...so to speak. Every track hits hard and true, and every listen brings you closer to rock bliss. JETLINER may be rocks saving grace this year.
Wow!

This album is wicked catchy!
author: Rachel KittermanI love this CD!! I definitely hear the Queen influences but I also get hints of Pink Floyd and Split Enz. Adam Paskowitz has an incredible voice and the songs are wicked catchy. I highly recommend this album!

The album that should be the start of a new day in rock
author: Barry SmalleyAs I sit and listen to this album for the 4th consecutive time I find it hard to express my feelings with words. Jetliner wear their influences on their sleeves and are damn proud of it. Adam Paskowitz has a voice unlike anyone else in rock today. Part Elton John, and part J.R. Richards from Dishwalla, Adam's voice doesn't overshadow the other band member's but beautifies every single melody they send his way. I would have to say that The Good Times, Fast as I can, and Little Steps are my personal favorites, but there are many more great cuts. Believe me you cannot go wrong with picking up this record.
Fabulous cd!!
author: CherryGreat sounding cd, the catchy melodies run through my head all day, particularly Your're my Prayer! Adam's voice sounds fantastic. This cd really grabs your attention and makes you want to hear more. It's reminiscent of Queen and Elton John, but I also heard a little Beach Boys.
Made me feel young again.
author: RonI enjoyed the rhythm and lyrics as much as the songs of the late sixties thru early eighties. This group is going to make it big!
Wonderful piano rock, like an undiscovered treasure from another era.
author: Chat CoatsLike a breath of fresh air in these stagnant musical times. It's always nice to know music like the songs on this CD exist in a world of generic band-wagoneers. The songs are of the quality that make you want to rock out when driving down the road, and they take you out of the shittiest mood and put you in a better place. The world needs more music like this. Long live pure rock n roll, with piano, the 70's and all "the good times" that goes with it.
Great songs. Several songs have major radio rotation potential.
author: Tim McMahonThe songs on this CD are sure to be stuck in your head hours after you have stopped listening to it. My favorite tracks are Fast as I Can, You're my Prayer, and The Good Times. All tracks are outstanding works of art and are creative.
Mesmerizing; Inspirational
author: VanessaThis CD is the most inspirational CD I have bought. Whether it be a bad day or good day, the music of Jetliner always keeps me grounded. Little Steps is by far the most peaceful, uplifting song I have heard. For me, it takes me to a place where all you feel is tranquility. For that...I thank you all for being who you are.
"70´s Sounding Power-Pop influenced by Queen, Elton John and Wings"
author: Kaj RothIt´s strange how times change, back in '78 an album like Jetliner´s admirable piece of work would have been released on a Major Label, selling lots of copies and on everybodies lips, because that´s what this intelligent pop band makes-70´s sounding Powerpop influenced by Queen, Elton John and Wings! Today, frontman Adam Paskowitz and his fellowmen are on an independent label with their debut that would make Robbie Williams full of envy why he didn´t make this record. What you get on this CD is 13 memorable, or if you like, unforgetable tunes that probably the very own Sir Elton John will do a cover of any song if only he hears about this delightful music with the flavour of the year. With The Duke on B3 and Fender Rhodes (God how I love those old classical instruments with no sampling in sight for a million miles); Jeff Kluesner on Guitar (Be careful that Lenny Kravitz doesn't hire him, because he´s got the groove); Rob Jones on Drums (Smart drummers know what to play and when to play and Rob falls into that category without discussion); Michael Kujawa on Bass (those bass lines make the music alive more than people understand) and at last Adam Paskowitz on Lead Vocals and Piano (that voice isn´t to play with, I truly hope that he has it insured)...this band can´t fail! With a little help from friends around that will take ´em out on the highway of popcharts, this will be the start of a new long adventure in retrospective flashbacks how great the 70´s were and still is when bands like Jetliner comes along. I have the album cover on my PC desktop and it gets me in a good mood everytime I log in, then I´ll turn on "You´re My Prayer" or "Breaking" to get that idiotic smile on my face. I can assure you that you can buy this album unheard, they could easily have put up the text "YOU'LL GET YOUR MONEY BACK" if you´re not satisfied!

The CD brought back 70s in me!!! and feels great!!!
Pianos, Guitars and great harmonies...fantastic!
author: Kevin RogersWow, I have not been able to keep this CD out of my player. These songs are so unique. It has been a long time since a new CD has grabbed me like this one. From the first song "The Good Times" just keep coming. The singers voice is a throwback to the days of Freddie Murcury and Elton John. Just have a listen to "Little Steps" and "These Days" and you will know what I mean. One listen and you will be hooked.
