Jessie Haynes & Cowgirl Ecstasy
2004 Limited Release (100 copies in print)
The first 4 tracks of this limited release were recorded by lead singer/guitarist Jessie Haynes and her musical cohorts Trina Michne & Alex Sarkis, currently known as "Cowgirl Ecstasy." But this is no country band! They're more along the lines of a female Radiohead, or Counting Crows, with their own blend of alternative alchemy. Oh yeah & of course a dash of Cowgirl twang! On the more singer/songwriter side, the next 5 tracks were recorded by Haynes on her own and are a sneak preview of what's to come, including the slightly creepy, acoustic, "Sweet Little Thing," and the most requested "Arizona." Out of the 100 copies printed & released in October 2004, there are less than 50 copies available for sale.

More on Jessie Haynes:
During her toddler years, Jessie Haynes might be found mimicking classical pieces she heard played by her father Richard Gilks, pianist and writer for KPM/EMI. Jessie, was born on Long Island, but grew up in LA. Returning to Long Island, she founded and became lead guitarist & primary songwriter for the all-female rock band, "Sweet Little Sister." While promoting their release on CMI Records, the band opened for numerous national acts. Haynes was also hired to perform in "Blackmore's Night," legendary Ritchie Blackmore's latest project. During her 3 years in the band, they promoted the first CD, "Shadow of the Moon," touring overseas & shooting videos. Haynes made numerous live appearances on radio & TV with both bands and her solo songs have been featured on "Friends," "Access Hollywood," and "America's Most Wanted." Recently, she's teamed up with Stephen Palmer, collaborating on songs in all genres for artists in need. Haynes has also been an active part of her local music scene as well, hosting Musicians Showcases & performing as a solo artist and with her band, 'Cowgirl Ecstasy.'
