Jessica Heine has quite the range. Classically trained, she sets herself apart with an engaging onstage personality, eclectic and meaningful songwriting, and an incredible voice! While it can be quiet and sensitive, the perfect compliment to a nice evening on a front porch or at a cafe with a glass of wine, her voice can also bring the house down when she really lets go.
Jessica released her debut CD, Either Way, in 2006, and has since become a favorite and mainstay at local folk music venues and several Folk Clubs. Heine spent the summer of 2008 recording a new CD and playing multiple festivals in central and southern Alberta. Look for the release of her second CD in the spring of 2009.

author: SophiaSo we only managed to catch one song by Jessica at the Edmonton Folk Fest. We were so impresed that we bought this cd (along with music from 4 other groups) and this continues to be our favourite set of tunes. Definitely a wise purchase!
