notes
This is Jeremiah's first solo outing; it has many of his original compositions played with some of his musical pals: fiddlers Pete Sutherland, Ruthie Dornfeld, Becky Tracy and Mary Lea, guitarists David Surette and Keith Murphy among others. A little more info about Jeremiah:
From his home in Sharon, VT Jeremiah McLane has traveled throughout the United States and Europe, as a performer and teacher. A full time musician since 1989, Jeremiah holds a master's in Contemporary Improvisation from New England Conservatory. He has composed music for theatre and film (including Sam Shepard's “A Lie of the Mind”), performed at such prestigious venues such as the Royal Festival Hall in London, the Picolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston, SC, the St. Chartiers Festival in St. Chartiers, France, and at the Memoires et Racines Festival in Jolliet, Quebec.
He is a founding member of Nightingale, The Clayfoot Strutters and Big Table, three pivotal and popular bands with traditional folk roots. His solo recordings, including "Smile When You're Ready," have been widely acclaimed by critics and audiences alike. His musical contributions can be heard on over twenty five albums, including Jay Ungar and Molly Mason's “Harvest Home." He has performed on numerous live radio shows including WVPR, WNHPR, BBC, CBC, and Radio Wales. New World Festival organizer and radio host Mark Hauser has said: "Jeremiah plays and composes with originality, grace, and unbounded spontaneity."

Upbeat mix of accordian and piano by Jeremiah with great guests!
author: Eric Eid-ReinerWhat a cool CD! I'd heard Jeremiah in Nightingale and thought I'd check out this CD.... Really great playing, and great guests like Becky Tracy, Keith Murphy, and others who reall compliment and add to the recording. Enjoy!
Great CD!
author: Jan HammondI've been enjoying the CD all day now, while at work. It's really great music! It would be hard to pick a favorite, but "Popogigio" and the Lime Hill medley, stop me in my tracks every time. All of the musicians on this CD are top notch! Thanks for sharing.
