the joni mitchell of our time
author: Alec ScottI absolutely love Jenny's debut Cd. It's phenomenal. Her voice is beautiful and powerful from mid-range to her soaring head voice. All of the lyrics are really poetic and really get your head doing summersaults through the various emotional states she presents. And - how can I forget - the guitar. If you're into the joni-style alternate tunings/traditional folk picking - then this cd is totally for you. My favorite tracks.....#1, #2, #10, #11!
WONDERFUL!!
author: Megan HarrisAfter seeing her in a small cafe' I had to purchase her album! Her voice is thick with emotion, her lyrics are pure poetry, the stories she tells in her songs are beautifully tragic and refreshingly real. I'm so glad I had a chance to hear her perform and to purchase her cd! I recommend this cd to fans of strong women muscians!
