Jenny Beck is a Swedish singer/songwriter. She relocated to the UK in 2001 to further her music career and has since written, produced and recorded three CDs that have attracted much attention from record labels, the music press, radio stations and internet music sites world-wide. Though her main genres are Folk/Pop and Acoustic music she is often experimenting with various kinds of genres, such as R&B, Pop, Soul and Blues - genres that feature on her latest CD "On The Outside" which is out now and available to order on the official Jenny Beck website, iTunes, tapintomusic.com and uksounds.com, to name but a few online shops. The CD is also distributed by the world's leading digital distributor of music, The Orchard.
Jenny's songs are frequently played on internet and FM radio stations world-wide and her tracks have featured on many successful compilation albums. Her CDs have received rave reviews from the music press, radio stations and internet e-zines all over the world. In May 2004 Jenny was featured in the popular magazine "All Access Music" which is currently distributed to over 100.000 people in LA.

author: EpiphanyI seriously recommend that you pick up this CD by Jenny Beck as she's one of the best artists I've had the pleasure of hearing this year. For your money you get twelve folk/pop numbers taken from Jenny's recordings between 2003 - 2006. There's not one track on here that is a filler either. Every track is a pleasure to listen to especially Jenny's voice which is so full of passion. I'm really surprised that Jenny Beck hasn't been picked up by a major label as this is the kind of music that would sell big time from fans of independent music right through to the commercial music fans. Where do I start with my favourite tracks on this album? I don't simply because they all compliment each other and they are all quality songs and you'll find that out once you hear this album yourself. If you're looking for something new, original and refreshing then I seriously hope you check out Jenny Beck.
