notes

Unique, uplifting, electronic Chillout music.

Jeff has now written and produced seven albums since 2002.

His third album 'Fading Paradise' was recently chosen to be a CD which accompanied a bathroom gift pack in Hong Kong.

One of Jeff's tracks - 'Your Love (The Dark)' (featured on Artistopia.com) received an excellent review in a UK publication: 'Future Music Magazine' in September 2005 praising the style and production quality of the song.

Jeff has also received stacks of positive independent reviews - most are from music websites such as artistopia.com, mixsposure.com, Letstalkmusic.com, Apollo tunes, Indie 911, and Myspace etc.

Most recently 'Afterworld was reveiwed by Orphic music - you can read the review here:

Jeff was previously No.1 with 'Distinction' in the Artistopia Classical chart, which is interesting because although the track has orchestral strings throughout, the sound is predominently an electronic track and has a powerful drum and percussion section which dominates the song to the end.

The majority of his music fits into the Chillout genre and also TV accompaniment/incidental genre.

Most tracks are Electronic Downtempo Chillout, some are upbeat but without a doubt all Jeff's music has an amazing uplifting feel.

Most of his songs have a unique emotional evolution which progresses through each track - so you need to hear the whole song or you miss out!

Jeff has recently obtained a new publishing deal in the US with Researchmusic.com focusing on supplying music for Film and TV.

Jeff has also been in discussions with producers regarding the use of some tracks in an independent documentary about flying light aircraft in the US.

He has been included on many other internet radio stations such as 'Synth Heaven', Chill 'n' Groove' 'Groovera', 'Calmscape', 'Mosaic', '1.fmchillout' 'Spirit Within Radio' and others throughout the world.

His music was recently added to 'Element 29' and Element 31 of 'Electronic Periodic' - a regular electronic music podcast which has been featured in Sound on Sound Magazine in October 2006.

The 'Electronic Periodic' podcast has had over 50,000 downloads in it's first six months and has featured in the top 50 downloads chart on itunes.

www.electronicperiodic.com

Jeff's track 'Distinction' is the first track on 'Element 31'

He has also just been added to 'The Chill Factory' podcast playlist An Australian podcast - easily available from itunes. Listen out in for the April/May episode for Jeff's inclusion.

Jeff's music has also just been added to 'Argotea.com' an internet radio station which plays it's shows throughout their chain of 'Argotea' cafés' in Chicago. Along with a radio station in Peru called 'Audiomantra'

'Seventh Heaven' - the fifth album written in January 2006 is now available on 'itunes' worldwide.

'Seventh Heaven' is also on 'Lastfm.com'.

Jeff's last album 'Afterworld' was released in December 2006 and includes a more contemporary influence alongside Jeff's original style.

The latest album to be released 'OSMOSIS'
is arguably the best album so far.

Interest in Jeff's music has been growing more rapidly recently, mostly due to exposure from Artistopia, Myspace, itunes and of course CD Baby, also 'Researchmusic.com' the US publisher which have been promoting his music in the States.

  • Osmosis - Amazing
    author: Stewart Welsh

I only recently found Jeff's music via Myspace. I was so impressed with the last 2 albums, that I searched for, and bought, all his previous recordings. Jeff is only the 4th artist I have ever done that with. It was fascinating to listen to them all and hear the changes & progression through each album. Osmosis is, for me, his best to date ( except Free Diving, which I haven't heard yet!!)but, as each CD is stunning, it's a fine line!! Anyone who enjoys New Age, Trance/Ambient, World, Electonica, (or whatever you want to label his music as) will really enjoy this CD. However, you will soon find the music refuses to be pigeonholed and will be enjoyed for itself. Highly recommended & my favourite Album this year.
