Jeffrey A Lambert is a self taught dulcimer musician, a dulcimer craftsman and a author of dulcimer instruction books.
I know you will enjoy this lovely mountain, folk, gospel music.
Thank you for your interest in the mountain, lap or Appalachian dulcimer. The mountain dulcimer is in the midst of a great revival! It has found renewed popularity throughout the world. Persons of all nationalities are discovering the "sweet music" of this grand old instrument.
The majority of my life was spent on the banks of the Big Sandy River. My home is a small community called "Zelda" in Lawrence County, Kentucky. Raised in the music rich foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, I have always been exposed to the unique mountain musical culture of family, friends and neighbors.
Music is as much a part of my life as falling in love. Members of my family, most of my neighbors, fellow school chums and local gospel groups played, sang and shared their musical talent(s) with all (or anyone) that would listen.
