(About MP3 downloads at CD Baby)

A sound like the raw and unpolished music of Elliott Smith or David Bowie coupled with the catchiness and soothing appeal of the Beatles.

notes

Ohioan Chase Jedick has been a music lover all of his life. His favorite musicians include the Beatles, Nirvana, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, and Harry Chapin. Drawing on his love for music, experiences in life, and drive to create, Chase has developed a refreshingly varied and enjoyable style that might be described as Pop/Rock, Alternative, and/or Folk Rock. Though Chase has recently started calling his style "Roll Music," in the same way that others have shortened "Rock & Roll" to "Rock."

After his parents bought him his first guitar in 5th grade, Chase discovered his true love in songwriting and performing for family and friends. Finding inspiration in personal relationships and the world around him, Chase began writing a collection of songs that would first be displayed on "Winter Air"--his debut album.

The makings of a brilliant musician are all here. Though unpolished, the album takes the listener through a variety of different moods--the focus being a generally depressing "wintery" feeling. The standouts on this album include "All Right," "New Year," "Dream For Two," "Cheers to the Pain," and "Storm Cloud Night."

The album now stands as a precursor to Chase's 2nd and 3rd albums, finding a perfect twin in his 3rd, "The Bitter and the Unbelievable." http://www.cdbaby.com/jedick.
