notes
Jeannie Lambert - While performing at such area night spots as The Playboy Club, Andy's, The Green Mill, Pops for Champagne and with many big bands including Larry Elgart, Bob Stone, Eddie Barrett and more, Jeannie has matured into the singer whom Larry Kart of the Chicago Tribune called "...hip, cool, timbered...in the manner of Anita O'Day and June Christy.
Over the years, Jeannie has earned the respect of virtually every jazz musician in Chicago and is equally at home in intimate clubs and cabarets, with big bands or at jazz festivals and pleasing crowds at either end of the spectrum. Remember when you could hear the words? Jeannie will make sure you not only hear them, but feel them as well.
Upon hearing Jeannie-Ology for the first time, internationally known and respected pianist Eddie Higgins wrote, "I thoroughly enjoy her warm vocal quality, her choice of songs and the high musical standards evident in the accompanying musicians. All in all, an achievement which makes us all happy-we who are fans and admirers!"

The sound of this woman's voice has more information in it than the yellow pages
author: Dirk Van TellingenThis CD is a Chicago project with some of the local giants we have lost and others you have never heard of. The 3 added songs are even better the first. You are going to love this CD.
