notes
This is virtuoso guitar, mixed with Ableton Live software, a dynamite combination. For electronica fans, "Skitzo" is a good track to start with. For acoustic guitar fans, "Christos" is another goodie. For returning John Winters fans, they are all good, but as usual, all different. Your mileage may vary from track to track.
The last number, “Struggle for Love in a Dream”, is very different and not a guitar piece at all. Check it out. It's an original composition by John, using Notion software, which allows the composer to build an entire musical piece, note by note, using samples from the London Symphony Orchestra and other sources. The title of this track comes from the classic book, Hypnerotomachia Poliphili, first published in 1499.
Sinister Dextera is John’s second album released through CDBaby and the digital download services. It picks up right where Delirium Road, released February 2006, left off. Once again, he mixes virtuoso acoustic guitar with heavy doses of electronica. Pretty heady stuff, but just right for the cognoscenti.
John is 26 years old, currently residing in North Carolina, USA. He uses a slew of equipment to record and perform; always creating more, to constantly and dependably muscle, push and intensify the degrees of virtuosity in his recordings and live performances.

PS: After listening to 2-minute samples here, if you want to buy individual tracks of Sinister Dextera, go to iTunes, Napster, mp3-extension.com, buy.com or Ruckus for the digital downloads. FYI, Napster streams the entire tracks for listening, not just short samples.
