Jan Deneau is a blues based piano player, who has been called by Chuck Niles, "A great straight-ahead jazz player." Jan resides in Pebble Beach, CA and plays all over the Monterey area. He is a private individual, who has chosen to stay in the Monterey/Pebble Beach area. (who can blame him?) He is known for his natural, swinging style and imaginative arrangements. This is a live album done at the Lodge at Pebble Beach. You can hear the people clinking their cocktail glasses and having a ball in the lounge. If you like piano jazz, this album will become one of your favorites.

Monster Pianist!!!!!!
author: Carin PfuhlThis guy is a monster pianist. Unfortunately, though this CD gives you an idea of how imaginative and melodic he is, it does not display his full abilities. He has been compared to Oscar and Art and from what I have heard - this is an understatement! I definitely recomend you buy this CD but I would urge someone to get this guy in a studio an set him loose. He will knock you out!!!!!
