notes
Currently making a splash on the downtown NYC scene, singer-songwriter/keyboardist JC Milo has taken hold in his new home of NYC, after conquering the Toronto music scene in the mid-nineties with local faves Dizzy Spell.
With influences ranging from The Kinks to Kate Bush, JC has taken to the streets his eclectic brand of acoustic-electronica. The beats are found in Manchester's DJ Jubei, an array percussion feels from Soho musician Joel Hirsch, and the groovy guitars of Aaron Strebbs. With the sounds coming out of co -producer Charles Newman's Mother West Studios and long time Canadian mixer, producer Tom Rogers at the party also, "Giant Bug" is now complete.
With it's hard grooves, textures, and undeniable melodies, the music of JC Milo will sure to take hold of the thriving electronic scene as well as grabbing the ears of alternative fans around the globe.
