  • Love this CD, bought for boyfriend!

I bought this CD for my boyfriend. He heard the first track "Leanin'" on an online radio and he really liked it, so I bought it for him. Now he listens to it all the time. A Great CD, I would definitely recommend it.

  • High School Friend
    author: Chasity Henry

I found his page on myspace when I was looking for people I had went to school with. I was so surprised someone I had went to school with is a singer especially since I was in choir, and everything for like 6 yrs. I excited for him, his cd was very good. I was very taken back at how I really liked the cd the more I listened to it the more awesome it got. It ROCKS!

  • Excellent Debut Effort
    author: Rob

After seeing JC Andersen open up for Diamond Rio at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia(along with an equally excellent Jay Taylor), I was intrigued, and had to pick up his debut CD. A truly superb debut effort from an incredible talent. The only question I continue to ask myself after listening through the ten tracks is "What are the major labels waiting for?" If this disc is any indication, this guy is a star in the making.

  • Two thumbs up for "When the Tide Rolls In"!

Every song on this CD is awesome! I never listen to every song on a CD. However, this CD is an exception. I'm glad someone has finally put together a CD I can play all the way through!

Talented lyricist and singer/country songwriter, J.C. Andersen, presents a thrilling, 10-track disc of professional modern male country pop/rock. Packed with plenty of honky tonky twang and traditional heartbeat, his songs embrace the warmth and resonance of modern country, taking the best from both worlds. There is a true sense of craft here and these well-balanced songs walk that fine line in production between over-indulgence and depravation- there is a steady commitment to equalization between harmony, melody, lyric and rhythm, each part finding balance with the others and enhancing the whole. Definitely a noteworthy album.
