notes

Louisville Ky. Young singer/songwriter, Jay Stamper announces the release of his
Debut EP titled “Dreams and Memories”! The EP contains 5 songs, all written by Jay Stamper, that take the listener on a journey through the emotions of love. From the joy of finding love, in “Like A Dream” and “Lullaby” long distance love “Man In The Moon” to love lost in “Heart’s Not Gonna Beat” and “Wishing Well”.
With a sound somewhat like a mix between Neal Young and Ryan Adams, 19yr old, Jay Stamper’s acoustical rhythms, and melancholic heart-felt vocals combined with some well placed electric guitar licks performed by the album’s producer Dan Weigleb make this a seamless collection of songs that flow from one to the other drawing the listener in.
Jay got his first guitar at 15 and by age 17 began writing his own music. Having only written a hand full of songs these 5 songs lay down the ground work for more good things to come.
An Independent Release by, Jay Stamper.
-----------------------------------------------------------
A Louisville, Kentucky native the nineteen year old Singer/Songwriter, Jay Stamper has a musical sound that reflects his heart and thoughts. A folk rock style, his music reflects what he's seen, experienced, and dreamed.

Stamper began playing guitar at fifteen when his grandfather had bought a second hand guitar from a pawn shop. Not wanting to simply cover songs that have already been written he began writing his own songs as soon after learning to play. A few acoustic guitars later and years of growing as a writer thanks to working with Singer/Songwriter, Turley Richards (writer of Drift Away) Stamper has finished working on and is soon to release his first EP of five songs produced by Dan Weigleb from a local Louisville music company.

Drawing inspiration from Singer/Songwriters such as Bob Dylan, Joe Purdy, Ryan Adams, and Damien Rice, Stamper's songs mix easily into them along with many others.
