Jana Lee is a strong passionate women who loves to entertain. Since she was able to talk singing was second nature to her. Growing up she would sing for anyone who would listen. Her favorite moments were at family and friend get togethers where she would let loose and belt out a song to all who would listen. Jana also loved to play piano and violin and realized at a young age creating music was her gift. As she grew older she constantly wrote music and continued to sing and perform and realized she also had a natural ear for sound, so she decided to utilize this and learn all she could about voice and sound. She became a vocal coach and began mixing sound for local bands.

Jana Lee's earlier singing years were spent performing in church and in school. After singing gospel music for most of her life Jana decided to take her music in a new direction and formed the band Silk-N-Sword. The band was together for six years, recorded many demos, and there was a CD release (True Identity). Jana left Silk-N-Sword and decided to focus more on teaching and mixing sound for local bands. She also continued to write and record her own music and in the fall of 2004 the CD (Close My Eyes) was released.

Jana Lee had an ankle injury in February 2005 which kept her from performing. While she was recovering from her injury she wrote a song for a dying friend called "Your Arms". The song tells about her friends amazing journey and how she was healed of her illness. The song became so popular it was released as a single in January 2006.

After 18 months of recovering from her injury. Jana Lee is now back to touring and performing. Her new solo projects will be available soon.

    Jana Lee is an artist and what a pro. She can write, sing, produce, teach, and sound better live than her own CD. Rock, Pop, Country, or gospel she can sing it all. At her acoustic shows I stay in my seat so I don't miss anything. Jana Lee, I enjoyed your show and the CD is great. Look forward to the acoustic album. See you at the next show.

    Jana Lee on word "Rock Artist Alert". Loved the acoustic show. Who said you need a full band to kick it up a notch. Ballad or Rocker you perform the heck of it. I have to agree with the other reviews. You are a storyteller. I enjoyed and love the CD, but again the live show made me a new fan. Thank you for making me love live shows again.

    Jana love the live show. You have that Rock Arena voice and style that's missing in today's live shows. Talk about feeling the performer. What pure raw emotion and that power house voice that can also be smooth as glass. Wow, what sexy low vocals you have. Karen carpenter like tone, with a bit of Kate Lang expression in phrasing. The CD is not bad, but you need to show that voice in a better raw recording. I will be emailing you.
