This unique debut CD introduces the listening world to the provocative vaccine song, "The Shot." Jamie Murphy also takes on the TV and movie media with his searing lyric in "Talk To Me." His soul searching stories in "For What I Am" and "Pockets Full of Tales" round out an impressive CD that combines folk-rock, blues, and jazz.

Jamie Murphy is a singer-songwriter and played guitar with Van Morrison and band at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia and the Wang Center in Boston. He has also been a guitarist-vocalist in several local Boston bands.

Jamie Murphy is the author of the book, What Every Parent Should Know About Childhood Immunization (10th printing, 2005) and is a respected spokesperson for the anti-vaccination movement.

    I was heartbroken because my daughter in law was going to vaccinate my only grandbaby. I had given her a lot of literature to research but to no avail. It wasn't until she heard "The Shot" that she broke down and said "I just can't do it". Kylee hasn't had a single vaccine and she is a whopping healthy baby! Thank you Jamie so much for this incredible song and your beautiful clear voice. Please put this song on myspace for all to hear what an critical message you are spreading.     Hi, I am a mom of 6, with several vaccine injured children! I bought this cd to play at a talk I was giving at a Dr. office. I try to express my heart when sharing my families story, but words tend to fall off after the tears start! This song "The shot" makes every parent I share it with double over in tears! It sounds to cruel to be true! There is nothing closer to the truth!! Thanks Jamie, for pulling the words from a depth that I cant explain!!!!

    Not to overlook the other songs on this CD -- "The Shot" is particularly strong, both musically and lyrically -- my own favorite is "Pockets Full of Tales". The highest compliment I can say about a song is that it brings tears to my eyes, and that is how this one effects me. I think it should be a widely known classic, and the arrangement here is exquisite, with warm strings and exellent piano.
