Acoustic duo, just two voices and two guitars. Peter Tork (late of the Monkees) and James Lee Stanley (late of Star Trek Deep Space Nine) melodic, harmonies reminiscent of the Everly Brothers. Great songs.

notes

After producing Peter Tork's first solo CD, he and James Lee Stanley decided to do a little acoustic tour, just the two of them. One set by James, one by Peter and a few songs together. The chemistry and the music and the demand for them together became so strong, they recorded the now legendary Two Man Band. This is the follow up CD to Two Man Band, entitled Once Again. It's just James Lee and Peter and their guitars and remarkable vocal blend. And the songs are either wonderful original compositions or re arranged covers of some of their favorite songs.

James Lee Stanley and Peter Tork make unbelievalbe music together! This CD is no exception. It just sounds like fun! The vocals are impeccable and the music infectious. The wonderfully blended harmonies and simple accoustic sound can take you into another world. Put your troubles aside for awhile and enjoy a terrific CD!

You know how every once in a while you'll listen to a CD and think that the people singing it must have had a ball recording it? This is one of those, and the fun is infectious. Great stuff here by Peter and James. "Easy Rider" is a song that PT wrote for the movie, but wasn't used. This is it's first official recording. Tork also wrote two other songs, the sweet & mellow "Little Girl" and the concert staple "Hi Babe". James' contributions include the wonderful "Bulldozer", "Stolen Season" and a really rockin' "Dirty Job". They've even pulled in a few songs from outside sources, such as Fred Neil's "Another Side To This Life", Paul Simon's "One Trick Pony" and (of course) "Daydream Believer". (PT's Monkees past wanders up to the forefront every once in a while!) This is a simple CD, just two guys, two guitars, two voices - and six times the fun!
