Jack Conway, Guitar
Starting on the guitar in 1962, Jack has studied with Bill Courtial, Jerry Hahn, Charles Gustavson, and Art Lande. Jack has played in many different groups and orchestras covering folk, jazz and community theater. In addition to The Jack Conway Trio, Jack currently plays with "Octobop," "VJB," "Tuesday Nite Live" and "The Jack Tones." Among his influences are Groucho Marx, Pat Martino, Wes Montgomery, Father Guido Sarducci, Jim Hall, Freddie Greene and Alan Greenspan.
Roger Dahlberg, Bass
The son of a high school music teacher, Roger started on clarinet and saxophone in grade school. He developed his bass chops in Tokyo, Japan while serving with the Air Force and looking for bass players with whom to play saxophone. He has played a lot of bass and a little bit of tenor sax in the Bay Area since the early 1960s. He has played in numerous bands and for musical theatre throughout the Bay Area. In addition to the Jack Conway Trio, Roger currently plays bass with “Touch of Brass,” “Tuesday Nite Live,” “ The Jack Tones” and almost anyone else that catches him in a good mood.
Scott “Reno” Brian, Drums
Originally from Sacramento, Reno received his Bachelor of Music from San Jose State in 2002 and his Masters in Jazz Studies from North Texas State in 2005. In Texas Reno played with big band “Big T and the Bada-Bings“ as well as “The Nick Schroeder Quintet” and “The Jason Bellack Quintet.” Reno has played with “Chris Ferrari’s All Star Band” and “Touch of Brass” and fronted his own groups including “Different Strokes Percussion“ and “R + 5.” Reno arranges, composes, teaches and plays all styles of music from church gigs to musicals, orchestras, rock, big bands and jazz.
Juanita Harris, Vocals
Juanita studied music at Cal State Humboldt and graduated from Berklee College of Music. An accomplished classical singer and violinist, she has found her niche with The Jack Conway Trio. She says “I love my classical, old school R&B and a little hard rock too, but apparently singing jazz is where my voice likes to be.” Juanita performs with “The Choral Project” and solos with “Tuesday Nite Live” and other area big bands as well as church gigs, theatre groups and voice-over work. She digs Sarah Vaughan and Ella and is into the entire Marsalis family, particularly Branford and Wynton.

Close your eyes and be there!
author: Gail SaulI could spend the night listening to these talented artists. I know I'd like everything they played and sang. You should have seen me in my car as I tried to sing along. Crazy cool.
Cool Jazz, Hot Vocals
author: KayeThis album is awesome. It puts you right in a smoky bar with Juanita Harris' sultry voice! She goes from swinging upbeat on 'Anthropology' to sexy temptress in 'Peel me a Grape'. The Trio is smooth and tight behind her. Highly recommended!
