JAAZ (The New Flavor of Rhythm) Good music, good style, and good taste, just a few ways to describe recording artist JAAZ. Originally from Kansas City, MO. now residing in Atlanta, this vocalist is reaching extreme heights as a musician. He has a sensational vocal style, which could put you in the mind of a Maxwell, or Bilal, and a charismatic style such as classic R&B legend Barry White. JAAZ describes his music as Jaazrhythmicfunk, which is a combination of styles harmoniously blended. As a child his musical influences were; Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Donnie Hathaway, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, and The Parliament Funkadelic. Singer songwriter JAAZ, has been vocally trained in the Kuma Sutra, and has incorporated his romantic yet street savvy appeal to his music. With one goal in mind, and that's"Make hit records". He is determined to make it to the top. His plan is simple, to strive for success as a total entertainer and be the best at what he does. Growing up JAAZ was inspired by his mother, his uncle percussionist Greg "Chille G" Allen and father trombonist Adell Kirkwood. His family will give him the inspiration he needed to get out there and make his dreams come true. Since he was a young man his mother always told him to always do something for himself. The time has come for change, dont just reach for the stars you can be one. JAAZ has already established himself as a "Wanted Man" in the music industry.
