Ivan Stinson is an inspirational songwriter and producer who has captured the hearts of many. His music is said to be breath taking and refreshing. He was born and raised in Atlanta Georgia to the proud parents of Mr. And Mrs. Ernest Stinson. Ivan is also the writer, director and producer of a dynamic stage play entitled Love, The Missing
Piece.
Ivan has completed an extraordinary inspirational CD. It is guaranteed to encourage, motivate and relax you as you listen to the sweet melodies and the awesome lyrics. He will be promoting this project via radio, AirJesus.com, live concerts, wedding receptions, family reunions, and television.
Ivan has been writing and performing since he was 8-years-old. He has composed 146 songs and the number is increasing daily. Ivan began his musical journey at an early age.
He was singing in the Sunbeam choir at the age of 8. He was gifted with a natural ability to play the piano. He later studied music at Georgia State University. He became the sound engineer for the Georgia State University Jazz Band under the direction of Dr. Robert Morsch.
He continued his study of music under the direction of Dr. Alma Blackman, former instructor at Oakwood College in Huntsville, Alabama.
Ivan has performed on the Bobby Jones Gospel Explosion Show, the midtown musical held in Atlanta, The Bronner Brothers International Hair Show, The Montreaux Jazz Festival. He has performed for the former mayor of Atlanta (Andrew Young) on several occasions. He has opened for the B-52s at the Tabernacle In Atlanta Georgia. Not only does he sing, perform, and write he also takes an active part in the lives of many young people.
He mentors young adults and is very instrumental in helping them make quality choices. Ivan also has a passion for homeless people. He has launched several feed the homeless projects and funded the projects himself.
A Love Song For You is a testament of true perseverance. He worked on this project for 18 years. But he managed to
complete it despite the opposition.
There were many obstacles and set backs that he experienced but he was determined not to give up.
