He has recorded on the CRI, Gasparo, and GM labels, and he recently released a solo CD, “Twentieth Century Romantic”, with pianist Philip Amalong, on the Titanic label.

Pianist Philip Amalong developed his love for chamber music as a youth, performing in a piano trio coached by Metta Watts and Orlando Cole at The New School of Music and Curtis Institute in Philadelphia. His collaberative career has included recital performances with many eminent instrumentalists and vocalists. His solo piano disc, Storia, released in 2003 on the Eroica label has received worldwide crtical acclaim and was featured on MusicalOnline's Web Concert Hall in 2004. His many solo and chamber music performances include both standard repertoire and newly composed works. He studied at the Universty of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music with Frank Weinstock and Sandra Rivers, taught at Xavier University and is currently on the faculty at the College of Mount St. Joseph.
