Issachar Prophet is the number one requested band for 2005 on the Invasion Radio Program from KRKS in Denver. They hold 19 of the top 50 spots for the most requested songs of the year, including the number one song "Who will be YHWH? from their debut Mountain of the Holy CD".
In 1991 a man he'd never seen before approached Doug Hartman and said he'd had a dream about him. In this dream, the man saw Doug on stage playing guitar before thousands and thousands of people who were coming to a new knowledge of YHWH's truth. At the time, this made no sense to Doug who was a drummer and into Heavy Metal music.
In 1999, Doug attended a Picnic of the Twelve Baskets held by Simchat Torah Biet Midrash, (where he was continuing his study of Hebrew, Torah and the Feasts). In a random drawing Doug received the basket of the Tribe of Issachar. The Blessing says that Issachar is a strong ass (donkey) that lays down between two burdens. Confused, Doug sought the Lord who answered "You are going to lay down (be "the glue") between Judah (Jews) and Ephraim (Christians). I am going to use your ministry to bring Christians back to Torah and Jews to Yeshua."
Today, Doug teaches all who will listen the steps up the Mountain of the Holy for the Restoration of all Things. Each day the Lord reveals more of His plan for this important end-time message.
Doug Hartman has served and studied at Campus Crusade for Christ, Liberty Baptist University, Institute of Biblical Research, Ascension Ministries, Victory Outreach, Restoration Power Ministries, Institute of Prophetic Study, Simchat Torah Biet Midrash, and now is in full time ministry.

I love the variety of musical styles on this CD! The music is smooth and captivating or groovin' and danceable, whatever you want - not to mention the potent, timely messages in the lyrics! Adonai is smilin' on this project, big time!!

When I first heard this CD, I was struck by the blend of beautiful, slow worship songs like Ani Ohav Atah, Land of Forever and Trail of Tears along with the more upbeat praise songs like Who Will be YHWH and Mountain of the Holy. I'm really looking foreward to hearing their future material, (and hopefully seeing them live;). Mountain of the Holy is at least as good as anything else out there and better than most. Way to go Issachar Prophet.
