The Israeli production of Lerner & Loewe musical, 'My Fair Lady,' opened in Tel Aviv at the Habima Theater on February 1, 1961. The show was an instantaneous hit and featured Rivka Raz, one of the most Israeli singers and actresses, she also stared in the Israeli-Hebrew production of Rogers & Hammerstein's "The King And I". Also featured are Shai Ophir and Bomba Zur, a poular actor-singer who appears on both the Israeli-Hebrew, and the Israeli-YIDDISH versions of "Fiddler On The Roof".
The accompanying booklet includes detailed information on the production, cast biographies, and lyrics to all the songs in HEBREW!
This wonderful CD is a 'must have' for all collectors of Broadway Show albums!
